Creativity Castle
At the Creativity Castle, children will be able to explore their artistic side and work on some paintings, drawings, and more. This is a fun place that all the little ones will love.
Castle Stories
Here the children can play dress up in a medieval world and learn all about mythical heroes such as King Arthur. Kids will be able to let their imaginations run wild here. They can even put on their own puppet show in the castle theater.
Raceways
In this section of the museum, kids can learn about motion, speed, and gravity all while having a great time. They can race golf balls down slides and through chutes and have fun while they are still learning.
Waterwise
At the Waterwise exhibit, children will learn all about the water cycle and get a chance to see how important water is in our everyday lives. It is educational, and it gives kids a chance to have some watery fun!
Lowcountry Shrimping
One of the most important industries in the area is shrimp fishing, and this exhibit offers the little ones a chance to learn about how fishing boat works. They can climb aboard the 30-foot replica, and even try their hand at tossing out a net.
Totally Toddler
Toddlers and infants alike are welcome here. It offers a place to play, relax, and develop motor skills.
The Children's Garden
The kids will learn all about different plants and herbs in the Children's Garden. It gives them a chance to get a little dirty and learn all about planting.
Charleston Market
Children can learn about shopping for healthy food, as well as all of the math that is required when going to the grocery store.
Admission for children and adults is $7, and those little ones who are under a year old are free. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10AM to 5PM, and on Sunday from 1PM to 5PM.
